Sandie Kindt has been a resident of Washington County since 1999. She and her husband, Lynwood, worked as Air Traffic Control Specialist at Houston Air Route Traffic Control Center for a combined service of 54 years until their retirement. They raised 3 children in Brenham and have 2 grandchildren. Sandie is also a proud member of the Friendship Quilting Guild in Brenham and helps run the family AG business in north Washington County.
Sandie has been a life long Republican and started working in politics in 2009.
She started out as a member of the TEA Party in Washington County and a Local Coordinator for Tea Party Patriots. In 2011 Sandie was elected as the Vice President of the Republican Club of Washington County and in 2016 Sandie was elected as the Chairman of the Republican Party of Washington County.
Sandie has also worked through multi-media to get the conservative message out to others. Her favorite founding fathers are Thomas Jefferson and James Madison. She believes in the ability of a person to succeed with their God given talents. She believes that our government is meant to be governed by each of us and that the government's main job is to provide for the safety and security of our Nation.
As a Native American, wife, mother, daughter, former government employee, union member and now republic promoter, she believes that all people should continue to have the God given freedom without a central authority. Our community should take care of each other and support the success of our neighbors.
